New ‘Boutique’ Nightclub Nocturna to Launch in Ibiza This Summer with No-Phones Policy

**New “Boutique” Nightclub Nocturna to Launch in Ibiza This Summer with No-Phones Policy**
IBIZA — The White Isle’s nightlife landscape is set for a significant addition this summer with the launch of Nocturna, a new 380-capacity “boutique” nightclub. Situated beneath the Los Felices hotel in Cala de Bou, on Ibiza’s burgeoning west coast, the venue promises a refined alternative to the island’s mega-club circuit, focusing on high-fidelity sound and immersive, undistracted experiences.
Developed through a partnership between the Concept Hotel Group and Tokyo Industries, Nocturna represents a shift toward more intimate, audiophile-centric spaces. The club’s creative and music direction is spearheaded by Andrew Livesey—one half of the seasoned DJ duo The Brothers Grim—while Italian artist and producer Pascal Moscheni has been tasked with crafting a distinct visual identity for the space.
Central to Nocturna’s ethos is a strict no-phones policy. This move follows a growing trend among elite Ibiza venues aimed at protecting the privacy of attendees and fostering a sense of “in-the-moment” escapism. By removing the digital lens, organisers hope to return the focus to the music and the physical environment.
The venue’s interiors, designed by Soo Wilkinson in collaboration with architecture firm Dukant Atelier, are built around a high-fidelity soundsystem engineered for both dedicated listening and high-energy dancing. This “audiophile listening room” concept suggests a venue that caters to discerning clubbers seeking quality over quantity.
While the opening line-up remains “tightly under wraps,” Nocturna has confirmed it will collaborate with a diverse roster of international headliners, alongside extended residencies and curated promoter partnerships. The choice of location—Cala de Bou—places the club in an area traditionally known for family-friendly tourism but increasingly becoming a hub for sophisticated nightlife developments.
