John Summit’s Experts Only Festival is heading back to New York City for its second edition, set for September 19 and 20 at Randall’s Island Park. After a sold-out debut at the same venue in 2025, the two-day event is scaling up with a stacked lineup that spans house, techno, bass music, and everything in between.
The complete lineup dropped this week and it is loaded. Summit himself will perform both a solo set and a back-to-back with bass heavyweight Subtronics under the Subjohnics alias. The bill also includes UK rave revivalists Prospa, bass producer LYNY, British experimental artist Rohaan, garage specialist RoTaiki Nulight, and Experts Only regular Devault.
The second wave of additions brings even more range. California producer Max Styler goes back-to-back with Tel Aviv’s Adam Ten, UK house stalwart Will Clarke joins the roster, and Munich-based Innellea pairs with Ukrainian artist Korolova. New York’s own No Static and Virginia’s rSun round out the newly announced names, alongside peaktime producer Dreya V, Israeli artist OMRI., Australia’s Partiboi69, rising talent Jackie Hollander, LA techno fusion artist Airrica, Brazilian indie dance artist Gabss, and MADI and Soraya.
The festival expects to draw around 50,000 fans across three stages. The main stage handles the big-room bookings, while a second stage called Mirror Field will be surrounded by large-scale art installations and immersive activations. The third is the Pwemium Lounge, a nod to Summit’s viral meme, designed as an intimate space with curated programming and indie dance leanings.
Experts Only is being produced in partnership with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, and EMW. That production team gives the festival access to both New York market infrastructure and the broader US festival circuit’s booking and logistics expertise.
The return to Randall’s Island is a statement about New York’s role in the electronic music festival landscape. The city has seen events come and go, but Summit is betting that a curated, genre-diverse approach with a strong identity can stick where others have stumbled.
What makes Experts Only stand out is the breadth of its booking. The lineup pulls from house, techno, bass, garage, and experimental corners of dance music, mirroring how Summit himself has built his career by moving between styles rather than staying locked into one lane.
